Lanvin is a French fashion house under the direction of Alber Elbaz, a Moroccan-Israeli.
The Fall 2009 show was on a wetted down runway, to give the appearance of an ordinary city street. The looks were focused upon dresses, suits, jackets, and coats. Seems basic, but done very well with sweet accessories made the overall show stick out in my mind. The gloves, waist cinching belts, big shoes and feathered headbands really brought it all together.
