*maybe you're thinking. why would i buy summer shoes in mid august? well i'll tell you why. these shoes will not change next year. seriously sperry will have the same color combo and the price will be 90 dollars. so save yourself 30 bucks and you can wear them for the rest of the summer and all of the indian summer.

i pick up their magazine every season. it is really sweet. and they do a very nice job of presenting their merchandise in sweet ways. h&m has so much stuff in its stores that some things get lost in the shuffle or glanced over. here are four of my favorite images.

This dude was awesome. He was THE modern italian businessman. he was incredibly wealthy and totally sweet. here is his nytimes obit. he was known as a man of incredible taste and fashion. he achieved this by doing things in a very different and nuanced way. that is what B&N is all about.

And for those of you that might not be aware of her, Miroslava Duma is a well known editor from Moscow whose work started at Harper's Bazaar Russia and is now a contributor to L'Officiel Russia, Glamour Russia, the style section at Russian OK Magazine, and Tatler Magazine Russia. She also has a huge humanitarian heart and is currently spending time with a foundation to help people with mucoviscidosis. Beneath each photo, you will find Miroslava's editorial thoughts as she "thinks out loud" while organizing the photos.
